The idea of "Catching the
Rain" was born with the image of a woman walking barefoot through a meadow and
making herself vulnerable to a spring rain shower that has come upon her. Not
wanting to hide under an umbrella or shelter, as most of us often do, she allows
the cool clean rain to completely embrace her. Closing her eyes, putting her
face into the rain, and letting the pureness of God's raindrops cleanse her.
With her arms close to her heart and apron in hand, she tries to capture every
diamond-like droplet. Even her hemline creates small pools where water would
gather and dance. She enjoys this moment...
